The Hancock County Savings Bank Charitable Foundation recently celebrated its 25th year by awarding over $100,000 in grants to numerous Tri-State area charitable organizations, including Aim Women’s Center, Brooke Hancock Family Resource Network, Chester Volunteer Firemen’s Association, Chester-Newell Fish Foundation, Communicycle, Community Bread Basket, East Liverpool Beautification Society, Family Care Excellence, Glendale Church of the Nazarene, Hancock Brooke Ohio Counties Victim Assistance Program, Hancock County Humane Foundation, Hancock County Senior Services, Helping Hands of Toronto Ohio, Helping Heroes, Hilltop Horizons, Jefferson County Community Action Council, Lou Holtz Upper Ohio Valley Hall of Fame Foundation, Make-A-Wish Greater Pennsylvania & West Virginia, Museum of Ceramics, Ohio Valley YMCA, Ohio Valley Youth Network, Rotary Club of Beaver, Pennsylvania, Rotary Club of Calcutta, Rotary Club of East Liverpool, The Center in Midland, Pa., The Salvation Army of Weirton, United Way of Southern Columbiana County, Weirton Christian Center, Wellsville Community Foundation, and WVU Extension, Hancock County. Since 1999, the bank’s charitable foundation has invested over $1.2 million in the service area communities. The next round of grant applications must be submitted by Sept. 30, 2025.
